back to photo gallery index... Once again, Chad Vale supported Red Nose Day with a day of fun and educational activities to highlight the issues of poverty around the world. Every class teacher prepared an activity session and the children visited each teacher throughout the day, red noses worn with pride! The day culminated in each class taking part in ‘The Red Nose Day Coin Race’, where they laid out coins they had collected during Red Nose Week in lines on the playground. The winning class line of coins stretched from the entrance of the school, onto the playground and even reached the reception play area! Well done and thank-you to everyone who donated. Many thanks also to Mrs. LeMare, one of our dedicated parents, who organised our special assembly today with a presentation about Fair Trade given by Mr. Boyle from the Co-operative Group. He gave the whole school lots of information about Fair Trade, and brought samples of Fair Trade good available. He also donated Fair Trade chocolate and Geo-Bars to help us sustain our energy in what was a busy, fun and informative day. Thank-you.
