Pupil Governor Elections 2008-9

Yesterday was the day of our annual hustings for the Pupil Governors 2008-2009. Nine candidates were nominated to stand for this prestigious position and all had prepared speeches which they delivered to the whole school and all of the teachers. The speeches were fantastic and some children had obviously spent a long time researching, writing, practicing and refining before wowing the audience with their ideas and plans for their term ‘in office’. We are very pleased to announce that the winners of the elections and the new Pupil Governors are: Hussaam and Layyinah. Well done!

Many congratulations and we look forward to working with you next year. This week every class has been voting for their school councillors for next year. We await the results of the class elections and will publish the results next week. Good luck to you all!
