As is now Chad Vale tradition, we spent part of the morning voting for our new School Pupil Governors, using the real voting booths and guidance from the local council elections yesterday. The hustings from Year 5 were of extremely high quality and we would like to thank all of the children who put themselves forward for the position. Many had obviously spent a great deal of time preparing their speeches and had aspects of the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda, points from our own School Development Plan and a desire to improve issues around health and eating, linked to our current Healthy Schools Award bid.

We are very pleased to announce that the winners of this year’s elections are:
