Yesterday we
enjoyed a super assembly celebrating and learning about Easter traditions.
Children from different classes taught us about the Easter symbols of the
bunnies and chicks, Easter eggs and palm crosses. The whole school sang
beautifully and we watched a video of Reception and Class 4’s egg rolling fun
(see the video below)!
Last week the
children voted unanimously to forego our tradition of giving every child an
Easter egg in favour of a new aquarium which will be based in the entrance and
will be filled with fish after the Easter holidays. Well done to everyone
involved in the assembly, and thanks to the parents who supported in the
audience! May we wish everyone an ‘egg-cellent’ break and a fantastic Easter!
