As part of a collaborative Creative Partnerships project, Chad Vale have forged links with Percy Shurmer School in Birmingham and Montague Junior School in Doncaster. Over the next couple of years, we plan to work together on a long-term Writing Project and use Video-Conferencing to communicate with each other.

David Harmer, a published author of a number of well-known Children's Poetry books has kick-started the project by involving children in Poetry Workshops in all three schools.

He visited Chad Vale today and working with a range of classes, performed some of his favourite poems. He talked to us about becoming a poet, from his background of being a head teacher for over 15 years. Class Four, the focus group for this project, wrote some fantastic poetry about coming to school in the snow. Please see some of our work below the photo gallery.
