Baba Yaga Art
Class 4 have been working on the Viewpoints Art topic. We linked the topic to a
story we read in our Literacy lessons about Baba Yaga, a scary Russian witch who
lived in a house with three legs and rode around in a Pestle and Mortar!
We went into our forest and took some photos from different viewpoints,
then used these for initial sketches. We then took elements of these for a press
print block and also used photo-editing software to put ourselves into a 'scary
forest' that we created in the Colour Magic program. We also wrote some scary
music using the computers and Compose World 2!
